Peace be with you

Testimonials on the latest performances at the schools:

"Everyone enjoyed the performances of Idris & Dawud, but what made them so
unique and special were the positive messages they gave out while entertaining adults and children.

Our children were enthralled. Everywhere we went in school the children were coming up to Dawud & Idris and wanting to talk to them.

It was one of the best ways I have seen, as a teacher, of involving children in thinking about the world they live in, in a positive way.

The messages of Peace and Love were delivered so effectively.

One of our most challenging pupils said to me "Everyone is really OK if you get to know them. Them Musicians had some good ideas."

Parents and children at school keep asking me when they are coming back.

Dawud Wharnsby - Road To Madina

Road To Madinah" documents Dawud's growth towards more intricate harmonies and marks his third recording of nasheed (spiritual folk-songs). Full of melodic tunes and inspiring lyrics, it brought much attention to Dawud from around the world and also marked one of the earliest nasheed albums with English lyrics to utilize diverse percussion instruments beyond just the single sided Arabian daff drum. Through the self-reflective nature of the lyrics, listeners are able to see themselves in these songs which address subjects such as, the struggle with one's own ego ("Full Of Humility") or how to use each day to its fullest "What Did I Do Today?".
